Meetings & Exhibits
The Pastel Society of New Jersey holds two general meetings per year: one in the Spring and one in the Fall. A short business meeting is followed by a demonstration by a well-known pastelist. Our meetings are generally held in various venues located in northern New Jersey. We also host three exhibitions per year: a Signature Members and Board Members Exhibition, a Members Exhibition, and a Juried ExhibitionPSNJ Bylaws

The Pastel Society of New Jersey was founded in 2005 and quickly grew. There were 44 charter members. As of 2013, there are almost 190 members in the organization.
The founders and members who served on the first Executive Board are as follows: President - Mark de Mos, 1st Vice President - Annette Lange, 2nd Vice President - Rita Agron, Exhibitions Co-Chair - Louise Woodcox, Recording Secretary - Carol Livingston, Corresponding Secretary - Deborah Seymour, Treasurer - Norman Spatz, Member-at-Large - Nadine Weglinkski, advisors - Christina Debarry, PSA and Elyssa Prystauk, PSA.
